A DATE TO REMEMBER

Woke up early in the morning,

To prepare another milestone to trigger,

That my wife will be with me to travel,

From one point to another point.

At exactly 5:35 with the glaze of sunshine,

We travel in an air-conditioned bus liner,

And reach our first destination at 7:15 in the morning,

Then transferred to LRT1 to reach the second.

It will only take less than 30, we are already done,

Of our first itinerary and pause for a while,

Then road a tuk-tuk to get to the next destination,

Chatted nephew to pay a visit and no response.

Since, there's no response, we've travelled in LRT1,

Transferred to LRT2 then have lunch after,

Hitch an ejeep to get the next itinerary,

Approach an employee for my document to approve.

Got denied due to proof of identity not valid,

Since it was badly needed, I processed a proof of identity,

Then pay the necessary amount and get approved,

We walked for a bit then and my wife was already complaining.

She complained about her knees and feet exhausted,

Due to lots of walking and travel,

From one point to another and finally,

We've reached the last destination... Our HOME 🏠

WAITING GAME

I started my day at three in the morning,

Take a bath by 3:30 then ate breakfast by four,

Ride a bus by 4:15 and reach my destination by six,

And penned a document by 6:30 and captured it by seven.

I walked kilometer to kilometers around the town,

Just to waste my precious time before going back,

Remembering the history of the archipelago,

From one point to another point of time.

I need to go back to the vicinity before four,

As they advised me to claim the card between 4-6 o'clock,

Imagine wasting my time from seven in the morning,

Up to the glorious nine hours to achieve my goal.

I don't know the sense of waiting for those longer hours,

Just for one goal to put in my itinerary,

Tomorrow, another goal that needs to be achieved,

As my wife wanted to work with me,

Walking, wasting time and being remembered.
